What/who influences you?
I was born into an entrepreneurial family, my grandparents owned five convenience stores in Cleveland, OH. All family members were responsible for working in the stores to keep the business operating. While it was an awesome experience to have as a child, I witnessed my family’s challenges with owning and operating a business. I was driven to become an entrepreneur early on but knew I needed to gain as much knowledge as possible. I begin to study a local entrepreneur Nathanial Bronner, President and CEO of Bronner Brothers. My parents, grandparents, and Nathaniel Bronner were great influencers, their work ethic is what keeps me motivated today.
What accomplishments are you proud of with the real estate industry?
I am proud to have built a successful real estate company with my husband and sons that will allow us to leave a legacy for our family.
What does your day look like?
My day starts early with meditation and exercise and then goes right into lead generating, follow ups with buyers, sellers, contractors, and vendors for our rehab projects. Depending upon what stage we are with our rehabs my day can easily be absorbed with visiting properties that are under construction.
How is your office set up?
I have an office at my brokerage firm. I’m very organized, it’s the only way I can function. I have white boards displaying property status for rehabs, listings, follow ups etc. I hired an assistant to manage our website and social media accounts. I use a Contract to Close person that manages my contracts from start to finish.
What are your goals for the next year?
My goals for next year are to continue to build our passive income portfolio by adding 5 additional properties, build our private money lenders list, continue to grow the business working more “on the business” instead of “in the business” so that it can operate successfully during our absents.
